A Celebration with University of Dar-es-Salaam & in Appreciation of the Contributions to Makerere University.
Makerere University’s journey of 100 years, cannot be complete without making mention of the contributions of the University of East Africa under the then arrangement of the University of Nairobi and University of Dar-es-Salam. The joint celebration with the former constituent University colleges of East Africa is therefore a must in revisiting the history of Makerere, in commemoration of the long relationship that Makerere and the University of Dar-es-Salam have enjoyed in their past arrangements.
Revisiting this beautiful but historical arrangement, will bring fond memories of brotherhood that Makerere University and University of Dar-es-Salam used to enjoy, and also provide an opportunity to refresh for future collaboration in the field of research and innovations, students and faculty exchanges.
